Branch Historian- Peggy Poulin

From the Historian's corner:   Some points of interest:

Did you know:   Ohio's first circle was organized three (3) months after our Order was founded in New York City, in April, 1886.

Where:   Newark, Ohio. The circle was named "Whatsoever Circle".

How:  Miss Olive B. Jones from Newark was a librarian at Ohio State University in Columbus. She had received literature from the Order
and sent it on to her younger sister, Miss Grace Jones in Newark. So together with a friend, Miss Elizabeth Felix, they started the first
group of "Ten" in Ohio.  Miss Jeannette Shields, a teacher in Newark was the first Leader.

Who knows you may be asked this some time?
